En esta primera unidad, correspondiente a la Introducción a la Psicología de la Educación pude aprender bastante. No sabía que se encarga de los aprendizajes positivos, yo tenía entendido que solo se hacía cargo de aquellos procesos en los que existen problemas de aprendizaje. Además la Psicología de la Educación se ocupa de muchos otros aspectos, como son la comprensión, la memoria, el olvido, las transferencias, las estrategias, los temas educativos y la naturaleza de los métodos para mejorar el aprendizaje. También estaba en desconocimiento que se encarga y preocupa de ambos procesos: tanto el de enseñanza, como el de aprendizaje, ya que estudia como la gente aprende y como enseñarles. Me sorprendió mucho esta materia y en especial esta unidad por la vital importancia que tiene esta disciplina para lo que será nuestra futura profesión de docentes. Y además como madre que soy, reconozco y valoro esta ciencia, y me apena lo poco que es transmitida, puesto que todos los que estaremos en contacto con niños, adolescentes u otro ser humano, deberíamos contar con estos conocimientos previos.

I also was in ignorance that is responsible and concerned with both processes: both the teaching and the learning and studying how people learn and how to teach. I was very surprised this matter and especially this unit for the vital importance of this discipline for what will be our future teachers profession. And as a parent myself, I recognize and appreciate this science, and I regret how little is transmitted, because all that will be in contact with children, adolescents or another human being, we should have this prior knowledge. En la unidad 1 aprendí que la psicología de la educación es el estudio de aquella conducta que resulta del aprendizaje para la persona, y esta se esfuerza por alentar los aprendizajes positivos y prevenir los negativos, pero también intenta corregir aquellos que son desventajosos para el individuo y la sociedad. Es importante, que el profesor enseñe lo adecuado y deseable y corregir lo inadecuado e inaceptable, ya que de esta forma puede mantener al alumno interesado y es una forma de poder saber si el alumno entiende lo desarrollado en clases, si esta interesado en la asignatura y cuales son sus intereses. El profesor puede corregir lo que ve inadecuado en el aprendizaje del alumno y ayudarlo a mejorar.

Unit 1 I learned that educational psychology is the study of conduct that comes from learning to the individual, and this works to encourage positive learning and prevent the negative , but also tries to correct those which are disadvantageous for the individual and society. It is important that the teacher teach what is appropriate and desirable and correct inadequate and unacceptable , because in this way can keep students interested and is a way to know if the student understands what developed into classes, if you are interested in the subject and what are their interests. The teacher can correct what looks inappropriate in student learning and help you improve .
Meta cognición Unidad 1 Al iniciar este semestre ya tenía conocimiento previo del significado de psicología como una ciencia que estudia la conducta del individuo. He aprendido los cambios de conducta de acuerdos a las edades de los individuos. Puedo relacionar estos conocimientos previos como una base para poder comprender más a cerca de la psicología como ciencia. Al reflexionar y meditar la unidad 1 puede con el subrayado las palabras claves y buscar las definiciones de algunas palabras desconocidas .Puede notar lo importante que es la psicología educativa para nuestra carrera .Me sentí animada por conocer más al realizar las tareas asignadas por la profesora. Me ha sido difícil comprender el entorno histórico de la psicología educativa .Me gusto elaborar el glosario pues ahí puede fijar los conceptos que me servirían para el examen final y para toda la vida. Podré entablar una conversación y discutir acerca de la psicología educativa, pues ya tengo más conocimiento y puedo concluir que este conocimiento es la base esencial del por qué es importante la psicología en tu educación
Metacognition Unit 1 When starting this semester I had prior knowledge of the meaning of psychology as a science that it studies the behavior of the individual. I have learned the behavioral changes according to the age of individuals. I can relate this prior knowledge as a basis for understanding more about psychology as a science. I can reflect and meditate unit 1 I can highlighted with underline key words and look up the definitions of some words unknown .I noted the importance of educational psychology for our career .I felt encouraged to learn more when performing tasks assigned by the Professor. I was difficult to understand the historical setting of educational psychology. I enjoyed preparing the glossary because I could fix the concepts that it serve for the final exam and for life. I will able to engage in a conversation about educational psychology. I can conclude that this knowledge is the essential basis in education.
Metacognición unidad 1. Introducción a la Psicología Educativa Por medio de la lectura de ésta unidad, pude aprender las distintas funciones de la Psicología educativa. Funciones que abarcan desde lo escrito en el programa de estudios hasta lo aplicado en las salas de clases. En primer lugar, comprendí que la psicología estudia aquella conducta que conlleva a un aprendizaje. Es así, que esta ciencia no se ocupa sólo de los aprendizajes positivos, si no también vela por los que son negativos y no nos benefician. Lo bueno de esto, es que la sicología educativa busca soluciones que surgen ante problemas con los aprendizajes. Puedo recalcar algo muy positivo en relación a lo que comprendí. La psicología educativa no se limita a casos aislados. Busca respuestas a los problemas e interrogantes basándose en distintos enfoques pedagógicos para la elaboración de los programas de estudio y la actualización de los mismos. Es bueno acotar que la psicología hace un constante seguimiento a los problemas que surgen a través delos aprendizajes negativos. Por ello, observa con detenimiento nuestra capacidad de pensar, sentir, ejecutar acciones, los cambios que son producto de los aprendizajes. Se encarga de igual forma de los procesos de compre3sión, de interacción (estudiante- maestro), de instrucción, etc. Pude llegar a una conclusión con respecto a la psicología de la educación. Grandes cambios han ocurrido desde su implementación. Alumnos capaces no sólo de crear soluciones, sino de pensar y actuar de forma sensata acorde a lo que aprenden en clase. Sin esta ciencia, probablemente, desconoceríamos qué dificultades atravesamos como estudiantes en relación a nuestra forma de aprender.
Metacognition Unit 1. Introduction to Psychology of education: Through reading this unit, I could learn the different functions of educational psychology. Functions range from what it is written in the curriculum to what is applied in the classroom. First, I realized that psychology studies the behavior which leads to learning. Thus, this science is not only concerned with positive learning, but also ensures the ones that are negative for us. The good thing is that the educational psychology looks for answers to problems related to learning. I can emphasize something very positive about what I understood about the subject. Educational psychology is not limited to isolated cases finding answers to problems and questions based on different pedagogical approaches to the development of curricula and updating them. It is good to note that psychology is constantly monitoring the problems that arise through negative learning models. Therefore, look carefully our ability to think, feel, execute actions and changes are the result of learning. It is responsible in the same way, comprehension a processes of interaction (student-teacher) of instruction, etc. I could reach a conclusion about the psychology of education. Great changes have taken place since its implementation in the educational environment. Students are able not only to create solutions, but also to think and act wisely according to what they are learning. Without this knowledge, we’d probably not know what difficulties we face as students in relation to the way we learn.

Hemos aprendido que la Psicología Educativa es una rama de la sicología y se ocupa de estudiar cómo se produce el aprendizaje en el individuo, que procesos intervienen y que factores pueden ayudar. La Psicología Educativa también se ocupa se sub grupos que focalizan su atención en niños superdotados o con capacidades diferentes. Con el desarrollo de esta unidad aprendí que la educación no es un simple acto. Requiere de modelos educativos aportados por la Psicología educativa ya que se encarga de investigar y realizar síntesis y recopilaciones de teorías y enfoques pedagógicos que ayudaran al maestro a que su clase sea significativa para el alumno. Durante el desarrollo de esta unidad me sentí bastante cómodo por que la maestra crea el ambiente para que los alumnos participemos con confianza y podamos preguntar, y dar nuestras opiniones. De ésta manera es que aprendemos.

We have learned that educational psychology is a branch of psychology and that it deals with studying on how learning occurs in the individual, and which processes and factors involved can help. Educational Psychology focus on sub groups, their attention on gifted children or with disabilities too. With the development of this unit I learned that education is not a simple act. Requires educational models provided by the educational psychology as it investigates and perform synthesis and compilations of theories and pedagogical approaches to help the teacher in your class is meaningful to the student. During the development of this unit I felt pretty comfortable that the teacher creates the environment for students to participate with confidence and we ask, and give our opinions. That is the way we learn.
